Delicious and just the right amount of heat in this Spanish restaurant. The cuisine is traditional but seems they add their style to each dish. Always check the daily specials - they are too tempting to pass up. A must try is the sangria!! The staff is friendly and helpful if you have trouble choosing. The atmosphere is comfortable and modern.

Sala in Astoria is a total win. We grabbed seats at the bar and had a great time—fantastic bartender, super welcoming and on point. The food was delicious across the board: tender octopus, elegant white asparagus, and flavorful mejillones conservas. The standout? The seafood paella—rich, perfectly cooked, and packed with depth. Great vibe, lively clientele, and a space that feels both relaxed and buzzing. A low-key gem that knows exactly what it’s doing.

Rosé sangria is delicious, get the pitcher. Goat cheese, steak toast, and croquettes are among my favorite tapas. Paella was delicious, very generous portion for two. Love coming here, look forward to it every time.

The Churros! Almost addictive. We came in hungry and my son craved the famous spanish churros. Although the place was fully reserved they accommodated us and we felt like home. Food and tapas were amazing, its like you stepped into a small piece of Spain. Amazing.

Being a Spanish immigrant, can say the food here is great. Would recommend the shrimp (gambas al ajillo) and please soak all the bread you can in the sauce. Also, paella is always a good option. At night the ambience is very romantic.

Beautiful place, wonderful service and great food! This tapas, and not only restaurant is a hidden gem in Astoria. We got different tapas, and highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates, the octopus, the garlic shrimps, the paella, and the chocolate cake! We really enjoyed our dinner, and the staff was super attentive and lovely! Extra points for the great playlist throughout the evening!
